Asking the Right Questions

Everyone of you might have a great idea – for a project or for an online business. Chances are you are also endowed with the skill and dedication to make it happen. However, one step of the path is talking about your vision, spreading the word and getting other people’s feedback. You have to be incisive, persuasive and sometimes shocking to get your point across. Others might see your dream or your reality with different eyes than you think. That may come in unexpected, but you need to do your best to be prepared for how others will perceive and understand what is obvious to you.

In future posts, I will share my insight on public speaking, pitching investors or clients, giving interactive presentations and answering tricky questions questions. I must tell you I have no formal training in the matter. However, I have given tens of presentations over the last few years, ranging from business (especially about my former startup project) to technical (about artificial intelligence, machine learning, online collaboration). There is nothing I enjoy more than talking in front of crowds and bringing forward challenging ideas. The reason I’m writing this is that I want to share my passion with the world, get your opinions and maybe help a few people along the way.

My experience so far has taught me that having a provoking, impacting presentation has a lot to do with asking the right questions beforehand and achieving just the right mindset. In the following articles, I will do my best to go further into what turns a good presentation into a unique experience.
